Davies is proud to announce that our partner Patricia Olasker has been appointed by Order in Council to the Board of Directors of the Ontario Securities Commission. The Ontario Securities Commission regulates Ontario’s capital markets including overseeing the Toronto Stock Exchange, with a critical mandate to protect investors and to ensure fair, efficient and competitive markets. Patricia will continue in her leading practice in M&A, shareholder activism and corporate governance. We congratulate Patricia on her appointment and commend her for her public service on behalf of the people of Ontario.
