King has known since a very young age that he wanted to practice law, and is eager to begin his career at Davies.

Why did you choose Davies?

The main reason I chose Davies, aside from its excellent reputation, was the people. Everyone, despite their differences, genuinely care about and support one another. I also discovered that the lawyers, whether experienced or newly sworn in, were not only outstanding professionals, but also excellent mentors who are keen to pass on their knowledge.

Is there an organization that means a lot to you? And how are you involved?

Terre Sans Frontières. It is an organization that works with communities in developing countries and in emergency situations to ensure sustainable access to education, health care and decent incomes for all.

Is there a skill you would like to learn?

I’d like to learn to play chess, because I see it as an activity that cultivates qualities that are transferable to many other aspects of life, such as patience, strategy, attention, concentration and creativity. These skills can greatly enrich my approach in various fields, both personal and professional.
