Omar believes that a career in law will allow him to combine logical analysis with creative argumentation while engaging with real-world interests.

Why did you choose Davies?

I chose to work at Davies because it was the firm that, in my view, best embodied a deep commitment to excellence combined with a genuine spirit of collegiality and enthusiasm. Throughout the Course aux Stages process, I had the opportunity to meet many lawyers at the firm with whom I had great conversations, and I was deeply marked by everyone’s authenticity and passion for their practice. Furthermore, I was quite drawn to Davies’ entrepreneurial spirit and leaner structure, which will permit me to gain more exposure to high-level work early on in my career and thrive at a faster pace.

What are you most looking forward to during your time at Davies?

During my time at Davies, I am most looking forward to taking a deep dive into top-tier and innovative work, but also getting to know my colleagues and developing life-long friendships.

Is there something about you that we would be surprised to learn?

I think some would be surprised to learn that I tap dance! I have been doing it since a very young age and have tried to contribute positively to elderly care homes and charitable organizations by arranging performances for them.
