Associate, Technology

Davies is hiring a Technology lawyer with at least two years of experience to join our Montréal practice.

As a Davies lawyer, you will be a full group participant from day one. Your role would include:

  • drafting and negotiating technology-related contracts such as software licensing and cloud computing agreements;
  • working with the Corporate practice lawyers on technological matters in commercial transactions, contracts and disputes; and
  • researching, monitoring and analyzing changes in the industry, as well as new technological innovations.

The role may also include work on cybersecurity incidents, including assisting clients in preparing for such incidents and in incident response.

We are looking for a candidate with an excellent academic record, strong communication skills, experience in a similar high-calibre technology law practice, a commitment to exceeding client expectations and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects. Extensive knowledge of technological issues, as well as membership in the Québec Bar, are essential.
