David’s education in commerce will provide him with the critical- and creative-thinking skills required for a career in law.

What surprised you most about Davies during the interview process?

One thing that struck me was that a partner took the time to read an article that I had written in my law faculty's newspaper and brought it up during my interview. This testified to the genuine time and care that Davies invests in its recruitment process, and more importantly, in getting to know the people they work with.

Would you rather live in the ocean or on the moon?

I am not sure, but I immediately started pondering the tax residency consequences of either location. Something tells me that the moon would make a more effective tax haven than international waters. This is not legal advice.

Is there an organization that means a lot to you? And how are you involved?

Chabad of Westmount. I admire their relentless pursuit of servicing the elderly, youth and underprivileged. I have been a member of their community since CEGEP and still volunteer in various programs.
