If you were not a lawyer, what career would you have chosen?

I would choose an entrepreneurial career, as it combines challenging oneself with helping others. In addition, the world of entrepreneurship has always fascinated me. In principle, you can start a business with very little resources and, by offering impeccable services, build a large company with an excellent reputation.

What common myth about Davies would you want to dispel? How has it proven to be untrue?

That Davies lawyers do nothing but work! Yes, I believe that being a good lawyer requires a lot of effort; however, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that all the firm’s lawyers lead very active and interesting lives outside the office.

Aside from your studies, what else do you like to spend time doing?

I love sports and nature. I train regularly for marathons and triathlons and love going on long hikes with my friends in Québec’s national parks. I also do volunteer work, mainly with Les Petits Frères, an organization that works to combat isolation for the elderly in our community and to raise awareness for this important cause.
