Davies exemplifies the qualities that I hope to see replicated in the legal profession – those of excellence, rigour, humour and kindness.

What fictional character do you identify most with?

Sherlock Holmes. Character flaws aside, his powers of observation and deduction are to be revered. I identify with his desire to sharpen his mind through creative problem-solving – I would, however, infuse his interpersonal relations with more empathy.
