If you were not a lawyer, what career would you have chosen?
I am interested in diplomacy and majored in International Relations, so I probably would have applied for the Foreign Service if I had not pursued a legal career.
Is there a skill you would like to learn?
I enjoy learning languages. Not only is it a useful skill, but it is also fun and challenges me to view the world through a different lens. Through taking courses in French, Arabic, Mandarin and Latin, I have attained various levels of proficiency in each and practise a little bit every day.
Whom have you learned the most from personally or professionally?
My parents encouraged me to be intellectually curious. I am grateful to them for providing me with a steady supply of books, taking me to museums, and encouraging me in my pursuits from a young age.
