What surprised you most about Davies during the interview process?

I was surprised by the firm’s genuine appreciation for diversity and differing perspectives. From the first interview to the last, everyone I spoke with took a real interest in me as a person, not just as a potential summer student. That authenticity made it clear that Davies is a place where I could see myself learning, growing and developing my legal career.

Whom have you learned the most from personally or professionally?

I've learned the most, both personally and professionally, from my father. Growing up, I shadowed him at his business, observing how he interacted with clients and managed operations. He instilled in me the importance of professionalism and a client-first mindset – principles I deeply value. I strive to bring the same dedication to client needs in my legal career at Davies.

Aside from your studies, what else do you like to spend time doing?

My main hobby is flying small aircrafts during the weekends at Billy Bishop Airport. I started learning around two and a half years ago, and it has become a true passion for me ever since.
