Marcus leverages his skills in problem-solving, relationship management and business strategy development in his legal career.

He is particularly interested in working with emerging and high-growth companies, as he is passionate about helping entrepreneurs scale their business strategies.

Why did you choose to work with Davies?

I was drawn to Davies' commitment to developing exceptional lawyers of the future. From the firm's unique generalist approach that allows students to gain broad exposure to a variety of practice areas, to the ability to gain formal and informal mentorship opportunities, I am incredibly excited to be joining Davies this summer and beyond.

Are there any significant awards or accomplishments in school or in your personal life?

In 2021, I received the 'Best New Initiative Award' from the Canadian Association of Business Students for founding a community education podcast to support first-year undergraduate students during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Who would play you in a movie about your life?

Ryan Reynolds. I am also a very easygoing person that loves to share a laugh with friends, and I also grew up in the same neighbourhood as him in Vancouver!
