Meaghan’s undergraduate studies in biology provided her with research, writing and editing skills that she will bring with her to Davies.
In 2022, Meaghan was awarded the Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP Award and the Adam Fanaki Memorial Award in Competition Law at Western Law. In 2024, Meaghan received the David L. Johnston Prize for the highest standing in Securities Regulation, the Law Society of Ontario Prize for academic excellence and the Granger Award for achieving the highest standing in family law at Western Law.
Why are you interested in practising law?
I want to pursue a career where I am constantly challenging myself and always learning. The law is diverse and ever-changing, which provides me with opportunities to try new things.
Why did you choose to work at Davies?
I chose to work at Davies for the people. Throughout the recruitment period, I was looking for a workplace where I could truly be myself, and I felt that with Davies. Everyone I spoke to was excited to work with their colleagues.
Whom do you most admire?
My female mentors. They inspire me to push harder to achieve all my goals, and seize the opportunities life presents me.
