What are you most looking forward to during your time at Davies?

Getting hands-on experience and working closely on important files – law school, while interesting and stimulating, can become a bit abstract at times. It’s exciting to know I’ll be developing real and applicable legal skills at Davies this summer.

Is there a practice area or industry in which you are particularly interested?

Environmental law work, especially in the area of ESG. I have always felt passionately about protecting the environment and would love to use my knowledge to positively influence corporations towards a more eco-friendly future.

Whom do you most admire?

My Nana, who was one of the first female lawyers to practice in Toronto. She tells me stories of how, as the only woman in her law school class, her male colleagues would constantly give her a hard time. I can’t imagine how tough she must have had to be!
