Warren believes a good lawyer is personable, skilled at understanding complex issues from a client’s perspective, and able to communicate challenging legal solutions in a digestible way.

He looks forward to exploring his interest in venture capital and growth companies, having worked with startups during his undergraduate degree and avidly followed the emerging tech space.

What surprised you most about Davies during the interview process?

All the different types of personalities that I came across during my conversations with the firm members. Davies casts a big tent of personalities and backgrounds, which I think is wonderful because you don’t need to fit the business lawyer archetype to be successful.

Is there an organization that means a lot to you?

I started volunteering at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in high school and hope to continue during my professional career. I spent time in their therapeutic recreation department where I crafted physical programming sessions to fit the children’s needs and tried to ensure that no mental or physical barriers excluded them from participating in our sessions.
