Davies Welcomes New Partner Hélène Bussières to the Employment, Labour and Executive Compensation Practice

Hélène Bussières has joined Davies as a partner in our Employment, Labour and Executive Compensation practice.

Hélène brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the firm on all aspects of Canadian employment and labour law.

Canadian corporations seek Hélène’s expertise in strategic human resource needs, including guidance on corporate governance; drafting executive employment agreements; counselling on best practices and policies; and negotiating collective agreements. Hélène also represents clients before civil and administrative courts.

Hélène’s experience in advising on employee-related matters in commercial transactions enhances the firm’s existing employment and executive compensation services to include human resource matters and transactional and M&A employment law issues. A familiar face in the courtroom, Hélène complements Davies’ notable employment, compensation and wrongful termination litigation practice.

Hélène is a member of the Québec Bar and of the prestigious College of Labor and Employment Lawyers of the American Bar Association. She teaches employment and labour law at the Québec Bar School and is a guest professor on the MBA Desautels Faculty at McGill University.
