Davies Advises eStruxture in Transformative C$1.8 Billion Investment in Canada’s Data Centre Landscape

Davies recently acted for eStruxture Data Centers (eStruxture) in strengthening its longstanding partnership with Fengate Asset Management (Fengate) through a record-breaking C$1.8-billion investment transaction, setting a new standard for innovation and growth in the Canadian technology sector.

This sector-shaping investment, in which Fengate substantially increased its equity stake in eStruxture, is the largest single transaction in the history of the Canadian data centre sector. The funds will accelerate a strategic expansion of eStruxture’s 15 state-of-the-art nationwide facilities in order to meet the growing demand for data centres and digital information processing, solidifying eStruxture’s leadership in Canada's digital infrastructure market.

Todd Coleman, Founder, President and CEO of eStruxture, commented on the partnership’s significance. “This partnership with Fengate marks a transformative moment for eStruxture. It not only reflects our shared commitment to advancing Canada’s digital landscape but also positions us to lead in delivering highly scalable and sustainable digital infrastructure solutions that will empower businesses across Canada and beyond.”

Fengate is a leading North American alternative investment manager focused on infrastructure, private equity and real estate. eStruxture is Canada’s largest data centre provider with locations in Montréal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.
