Davies Advises eStruxture in Transformative C$1.8 Billion Investment in Canada’s Data Centre Landscape
Davies recently acted for eStruxture Data Centers (eStruxture) in strengthening its longstanding partnership with Fengate Asset Management (Fengate) through a record-breaking C$1.8-billion investment transaction, setting a new standard for innovation and growth in the Canadian technology sector.
This sector-shaping investment, in which Fengate substantially increased its equity stake in eStruxture, is the largest single transaction in the history of the Canadian data centre sector. The funds will accelerate a strategic expansion of eStruxture’s 15 state-of-the-art nationwide facilities in order to meet the growing demand for data centres and digital information processing, solidifying eStruxture’s leadership in Canada's digital infrastructure market.

The deal involved key players in both the technology and real estate sectors, including Jonathan Wener (Canderel), Todd Coleman (eStruxture) and Lou Serafini Jr. (Fengate Asset Management).
