What are you most looking forward to during your time at Davies?
I am most looking forward to making meaningful connections with my colleagues and working collaboratively as a team. During interview week, I quickly noticed that Davies felt like a close-knit, supportive community and I am eager to contribute to the team by gaining hands-on experience and challenging myself in new areas of law.
If you were not a lawyer, what career would you have chosen?
If I were not a lawyer, I would most likely be working in the fashion industry, either as a stylist or as an entrepreneur in the sustainable fashion sector. I am passionate about creativity and innovation in problem-solving. Additionally, I love working with people and building meaningful relationships, so a client-facing role is important to me.
Is there an organization that means a lot to you? And how are you involved?
Track3 Ski School is an organization that means a lot to me as it provides disabled youth access to skiing and snowboarding. I volunteered as a ski instructor with this organization throughout the winters of my undergraduate degree. I was very grateful to share one of my passions with students and increase the accessibility of this sport.
