He is particularly drawn to securities, debt financing, infrastructure and restructuring and insolvency, areas of law that align with his experience in debt finance and have a significant, systemic impact on Canada’s economy.
Why did you choose to work with Davies?
I wanted to work somewhere where there was an emphasis on enabling students to become the best lawyers they possibly can be. Davies is a firm that will push me and give me the tools and experiences to excel while also emphasizing the importance of collaboration and team work.
Do you have any significant awards or accomplishments, either in school or in your personal life?
I worked at one of Europe’s fastest growing fintechs conducting leveraged finance and high-yield bond analysis prior to law school. I also worked at Science Po (Paris) as a researcher on a professor’s academic book on international economic lawfare.
If you could have your own talk show, who would you invite as your first guest?
David Lynch, as he is unpredictable, witty and would make for an incredibly entertaining guest. I am also quite a fan of his films.
